The 1.5 T engine, known by its engine code “4B40”, was developed by Mitsubishi. It’s a four-cylinder unit designed for use across a range of passenger cars, prized above all for its performance, fuel economy and reliability.

The biggest strength of the Mitsubishi 1.5 T engine is its compact, lightweight design, which suits smaller cars while still delivering plenty of power and performance.
