Getrag’s MPS6, sold by Ford as the 6DCT450, is a wet-clutch six-speed dual-clutch gearbox rated at 450 Nm. Volvo markets it as Powershift and Ford uses the same name in its own models — it is the same unit, so parts and repair solutions largely carry across.

The wet-clutch MPS6 does not suffer the problems of Ford’s smaller dry-clutch 6DCT250, even though both are sold as Powershift.
